We as PROFI-TECH GmbH (subsequent: "PROFI-TECH" or "We"), take the protection of your personal data very seriously and we collect, process and use your personal data only in the context of determining the valid data protection laws. We would like to inform the visitors and users of our websites about the purpose, type and scope of the processing of personal data.

A few words in advance regarding the use of service providers outside the European Union: PROFI-TECH GmbH is a company that operates internationally. Our offer and our services do not extend only to the Federal Republic of Germany or the European Union. We operate globaly and our clients are spread all over the world. We will gladly use EU service providers for certain services, if they can offer the service required for us in an equally good and comparable price manner. Unfortunetly, for some of the services we use, there is currently no comparable, acceptable alternative. We therefore also use a number of service providers outside the European Union (in particular from the USA). The current status can be found in the list below.

You can contact us by phone, e-mail or contact form on this website. If you use the contact form, the information provided by you from the request form will be stored only for the purpose of processing the request and for possible follow-up questions. The processing of the data entered into the contact form is therefore exclusively based on your consent (Article 6 (1) lit. EU GDPR). This consent can be revoked at any time. An informal message by e-mail or post is enough. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by your revocation.

5. Duration of storage of personal data

The key criterion for the duration of the storage of personal data is the respective legal retention period. The information you provide will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage and processing, or delete the data storage purpose (for example, after your request has been processed). After the deadline, the corresponding data will be routinely deleted, if they are no longer required to fulfill the contract or to initiate a contract.

6. Newsletter

On our website we offer you the opportunity to subscribe to our company newsletter. We inform our customers, business partners and subscribers at regular intervals through a free newsletter about offers, news, events and products of our company. Which personal data are transmitted to us when registering to receive the newsletter, results from the input mask used for this purpose. A valid e-mail address is sufficient in the input mask to sign up for our newsletter. Optionally, we ask you to provide your first and last name. This information is only for the personalization of the newsletter. When registering and signing up to receive our newsletter, the information you provide voluntarily will be used solely for this purpose. Newsletter subscribers can also be notified of circumstances that are relevant to the service or registration (for example, changes to our newsletter offer or technical conditions) via e-mail.

For an effective registration we need a valid e-mail address. In order to verify that an application is actually made by the owner of an e-mail address, we use the "double opt-in procedure". Double opt-in means that you will receive an email after logging in to ask for your registration confirmation. For this purpose we record the order of the newsletter, the dispatch of a confirmation mail and the receipt of the requested answer.

The consent to the storage of your personal data and use for the newsletter can be revoked at any time. In each newsletter you will find a link that you can use to unsubscribe directly from the receipt of the newsletter or tell us your request via the contact options listed at the end of this document.

Data that has been stored for other purposes with us (such as e-mail adresse for the partner or customer area) remain unaffected.
