AdBlue is an ultrapure NOx reductant for SCR diesel engines. SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology is based on a catalytic reaction to reduce harmful nitrogen oxides to harmless nitrogen and water, using a reductant (AdBlue). SCR technology has been adopted by car manufacturers to meet the EURO 4, 5 and EURO 6 emission limits, so that they can offer consumers powerful vehicles that are fuel-efficient and have low emissions.
AdBlue can be stored for up to 9 months in a sealed container at a temperature of max. 30 °C (average temperature 20 °C)
